There are so many functions to the HR Management role, and is hard to be an expert on all of them. This workshop is designed to focus on three of the more common and more challenging aspects of HR, Managing Employment Security claims, understanding the difference between and employee and a contractor in this day and age, and how to manage an employee benefit plan and program.

- An understanding of employment security including who is eligible, the process, responding to requests, your account and ratings, and what you need to know about Employment Security Hearings
- Knowledge on hiring contractors including understanding the law that draws the line between employees and contractors, rates of pay, scope of work, length of work, and reviewing performance
- Best practices and tools to keep your Employee Benefits Program relevant, easy to understand, and easy to administer as well as up to date
