Mary Bollard

Office Manager

Mary joined the All Things HR team as the Marketing Assistant after working at the company in various administrative and internship positions while earning her degree and has moved up in the company to become the Office Manager. Her goal is to make everyone as passionate about All Things HR and their services as she is. She enjoys event planning and digital marketing as well as her administrative duties.

When she is not working, you can find Mary spending time with her friends and family. She loves spending time on the water and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Angela Brooks, PHR

HR Consultant

Angela comes to All Things HR with over eight years of experience in a range of progressive HR roles. She is dedicated to HR and helping organizations with whatever their needs may be from recruiting, to onboarding, compensation, coaching, and employee retention.

In her career, she has worked in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, and non-profits.  With her role in HR, Angela enjoys partnering with her clients to meet their specific needs by matching them with the best human resource solutions to reach their goals.

In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur-baby too!

Sheryl Calmus

HR Consultant & Payroll Specialist

Sheryl is a seasoned HR professional with experience in all aspects of the field including employee relations, onboarding, organizational development, compliance, payroll, benefits management, recruiting and workplace immigration.

She’s worked for both large and small companies in a variety of industries including finance, banking, multi-media, and retail. She enjoys Human Resources management because it gives her the opportunity to interact with employees across the company, striving to make the working environment positive for all.

Outside of work Sheryl enjoys traveling, reading, hiking and cycling as well as spending time with family and friends.

Heidi Clary, SPHR

Sr HR Consultant

Heidi has spent most of her career in the field of HR management. She specializes in employee relations, training, onboarding, performance management, and coaching.

She has worked in a variety of industries—healthcare, IT and software, video games, and manufacturing.  Her HR experience ranges from assisting start-ups to large corporations, including several years each with Nintendo of America and Providence Health Services.

Heidi enjoys partnering with clients  on strategic planning, change management, and helping companies find human resource solutions to meet their business and workplace goals.

In her personal life, Heidi likes to ski, hike, bike, kayak, travel, and spend time with her family.

Jasmine Damon, SHRM-CP

HR DEI Consultant

Jasmine is a Society of Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and has 7 years of experience specializing in recruiting and talent acquisition. Over the years, she has also expanded her experience to include an HR Generalist scope of work and more recently, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She is passionate about educating on the importance of a healthy culture and climate through a People First lens – and embedding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into the many layers of an organization’s landscape.

She has worked with various companies of all sizes and doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach in order to provide the best, tailored solution for a client or customer. She has a proven track record of supporting and guiding organizations to make a positive and lasting impact with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Jasmine was born and raised in Seattle and enjoys crafts and painting, watching football, health and exercise, cooking and spending quality time with family and her Australian Shepard/Blue Heeler.

Kathy Henderson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Kathy Henderson has over 20 years of experience in HR strategy, regulatory compliance, project planning and implementation, employee relations and development. Her broad background in the daily operations of a human resources department has given her insight into the synergy of the many aspects of a strong HR strategy.

Kathy’s passion is in helping bring this all together. The development and maintenance of programs that mutually benefit employee and company are key to business success. She looks forward to digging in and helping you reach your goals.

As a true Northwesterner, Kathy’s life outside of HR involves hiking, camping, running a scenic PNW route and spending time with her family and a very active mini Aussie.

Marie Hinchy

HR Generalist

Marie Hinchy brings over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources Generalist/Management and Consultation in a variety of environments, including: non-profit childcare, wholesale and retail product distribution, high-tech software engineering, healthcare staffing, commercial and industrial construction and residential Real Estate. With experience in establishing and working in the processes of Recruiting, Onboarding, Separations, Records-keeping, HR legal compliance, Employee relations, Benefits and Leave Administration, Policy and Handbook creation/maintenance/communication, and all the things an HR Generalist is called to do. She also brings a clear understanding of process thinking in a continuous improvement environment,

She likes to say that she has a true heart for the Human Resources function and supporting organizations, their goals, and the individuals who make up the teams that realize those goals.

Outside of work, Marie makes jewelry using her vast collection of beads, is an avid reader, appreciates music in many forms,  and enjoys adventuring in the Pacific Northwest. She likes to discover and visit local beautiful places and delightful eating establishments. Having grown up in the suburbs North of Seattle, she finds it’s amazing how many local hidden places and treasures there are waiting to be found and experienced.

Jennifer Keys, SPHR

HR Consultant

Jennifer has spent over 27 years in Human Resources – specializing in non-profit, tech, and biotech for companies under 300. 

Her background is soup-to-nuts HR including: recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits, retention, HRIS, management and change coaching, and immigration. 

Recognized for a comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, as well as creating a fun, and welcoming atmosphere.   

In her personal life, she likes to read and write, garden, is active in several community-based organizations, and spend time her spouse and 3 purr-babies.​

Carrie Lynch, PHR, SHRM-CP

HR Consultant

Carrie Lynch has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources primarily in the manufacturing industry. She is a graduate of Western Washington University and attained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 2008 and her Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2015. She has opened two aerospace manufacturing facilities and brings experience in multiple areas of Human Resources including: HR management, talent acquisition, leadership development, employee relations, performance management, training, employee engagement and continuous improvement.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, boating and exploring the great Pacific Northwest. 

Barbara Miles, MA

HR Consultant

Barbara is a skilled HR professional with over 15 years of experience in HR management, working with non-profit and for-profit organizations throughout Washington state. She understands the business challenges of balancing financial stability with growth and maintaining a solid workforce to meet customer needs.

She supports clients in navigating these challenges through human resources services, including recruitment, onboarding, employee-supervisor relations, and training. Barbara understands the significance of starting where the client is and working together to achieve business goals.

Barbara’s interests are traveling and art. She has visited Cuba to study the culture and travels to different cities to see new art exhibitions by artists she admires.

At home, she enjoys long walks, day trips around the Pacific Northwest, spending time with family, and watching and reading Nordic mysteries.

Kim Morris

Sr Payroll Specialist

Kim brings to All Things HR, All Things Payroll.  

Understanding employees are a critical part to any business, Kim has always believed employees deserve nothing less than her best. Seeing a timely check for the correct amount is an important reflection of their efforts. She built that belief over 25 years working across the industries of hospitality, manufacturing, technology and professional services.  

Payroll serves as a bridge between the numbers and data of Accounting and the humanistic support of HR. From source materials to final reports, Kim has mastered the art of data flow. She focuses on detail to establish a payroll process that is efficient, effective and accurate. She has a firm grasp on the tools of technology including experience with major payroll platforms like Paylocity and ADP.

Believing in work/life balance Kim enjoys sewing and cooking, painting and music. She finds joy living life with family, friends and the best puppy ever, Harrison.

Lakshmi Nair, PHR

HR Assistant

Lakshmi Nair joined All Things HR as a HR Assistant. She has Post Graduate certification in Human Capital Management from XLRI, India and recently attained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 2021. Prior to joining All Things HR, Lakshmi was a Senior HR Assistant at Accenture handling the day to day HR operation of a division.

She enjoys working with people and helping them.

She lives in Bothell, Washington with her husband, two boys and a golden retriever. She loves hiking, visiting and experiencing new places with her friends and family.

Holly Ruhland

Client Relations Specialist

Holly has over 10 years of Client Relations and Sales Experience including work in sales, property management and product development.  She values her clients and their experience with All Things HR and is strong in developing relationships and maintaining working relationships with all of her clients.

Holly strives to help clients get the support they need to help their companies grow,  meet their goals and truly wants to see other people and companies succeed.

In her free time Holly enjoys, hiking, water sports, cooking, and spending time with her family and her friends.

Chavell Shaffer

Chavell has extensive HR experience in a wide variety of industries including Information Technology, Media, Consumer Services, Manufacturing and Risk Management.  She has spent her career working primarily with small to mid-sized companies.  Chavell is most passionate about the employee experience and loves to get involved in all things related to employee engagement.  She enjoys partnering with clients to help them with their staffing needs, assisting with finding fantastic team members to help the company meet their business goals. 

Chavell was raised in the Seattle area and loves fitness, cooking, travelling, and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two children.

Laura Smith

Administrative Assistant

Prior to joining All Things HR, Laura spent the last 20 years as an HR Professional.  Having held the position of HR Director in the construction and manufacturing fields, she has a variety of knowledge regarding HR functions.   Laura is passionate about Human Resources and helping individuals reach their goals.  Her goal is to provide the up most support to the team at ATHR.

In her free time, Laura can usually be found with her grandsons, family and friends.  She loves taking her grandsons exploring, camping, hiking and finding all the hidden treasures the Pacific NW offers.

Suzan Sturholm, SPHR

Owner / President

Suzan is the President of All Things HR, LLC.  She has more than twenty five years of human resources, executive level management and business development experience, with specialties in employee relations, training and development, strategic planning and creating and restructuring effective and efficient HR Departments.

Suzan is an innovative HR professional skilled at creating cost-effective solutions for complex business problems. She has been recognized for her vision, strategic planning and tactical implementation.  Suzan is a results-orientated professional and has experience with both union and non-union settings.

Suzan believes that good HR helps provide a solid foundation for a growing company.  Her passion is in facilitating the structuring of clients HR departments that will help to grow and nurture long-term and loyal employees which will in turn grow the client’s business.

Through her approach, she helps managers develop responsibilities to hire and develop engaged, passionate, dedicated employees. She engages executive teams to train and develop passionate, dedicated managers and supervisors. And her work includes guiding company presidents and CEOs in creating mission, vision, and company values to which everyone in the company can commit – including themselves.

When she’s not at the office, she can be found traveling the world, spending time with family, friends, and all things with fur and with four legs; and trying to live life to the fullest – every day.

Sylvia brings to All Things HR a broad range of experience in Human Resources Management and as an HR Business Partner.  She is known for delivering quality HR services to multi-disciplinary departments with varied cultures, priorities, and goals, using a consistent and equitable approach that incorporates flexibility while providing quality customer service. She has worked in a variety of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, services and property management.  In addition, Sylvia brings a unique perspective as a former operations manager and small business owner so that she looks to how Human Resources practices will fit your business and culture.

Sylvia is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). In her free time, she is a passionate gardener, loves to cook and spend time with her family and her two fur babies.
