Join the ATHR team on Wednesday, June 26, from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., for a free HR support webinar as we discuss: “How to Navigate the Death of an Employee with Your Team”. Dealing with the death of an employee is challenging for HR, Managers, and Leaders. The topics we plan to discuss are:

– What are the first steps you should take when notifying your staff of an employee’s death?
– What tools and support services should you have in place before you start informing employees?
– What do you say to staff? Do you make an in-person announcement send an email, or both?
– What type of reactions from staff should we be prepared for?
– What do we do for the employee’s family and close work friends?
– When do we offer grief counseling and what does it look like?
